City House Charles
Project Info
Replacing the Grand Central nightclub in downtown Baltimore, we supplied structural steel and miscellaneous metals for this new mixed-use facility. The eight-story building will offer 37,000 square feet of office and retail space.
Our scope of work included:
- Fabricating and erecting 276 tons of structural steel
- Designing, manufacturing and installing 303 squares of metal decking
- Designing and installing cold-formed metal framing
- Fabricating and erecting miscellaneous metals for stairs, guardrails and handrails
The site had extreme logistical challenges. Because we tied the steel into two stand-alone walls while also placing it between two existing buildings, this project felt a lot like a renovation instead of a new building.
